Honoring Veterans in the Midwest Region
Sunday, November 11, 2012, is Veterans Day. It is a day to honor and remember the sacrifices made by our military men and women, and their families. Even after veterans take off the uniform, they continue to apply the skills and experience they developed in the military toward a life of service here at home. Many of them have chosen to bring their skills here to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
A few of the veterans who've chosen to work in the Midwest Region are highlighted here.
The Region is also honored to be working with current servicemembers: http://www.fws.gov/warriorsintransition.html
For their service to our Nation, and the talent they bring to the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, on behalf of the entire Midwest Region, we say thank you.
