Final Environmental Assessment for Proposed Mingo Job Corps Center Building Construction and Rehabilitation Projects
The final Environmental Assessment (EA) was approved on January
24, 2002. The Preferred Alternative was selected which provides for a multi-faceted
project consisting of new construction and renovation and upgrading of existing buildings,
facilities, access roads, parking areas, and utilities on approximately 40 acres of land
located on the current site of the Mingo Job Corps Center. The Center is
located on Mingo National Wilflife Refuge in Stoddard County, Missouri.
