The Jordan River National Fish Hatchery in (NFH) Elmira, Mich., broke ground on Friday, May 14 to to mark the beginning of hatchery improvement projects funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. These projects include the construction of two fish rearing buildings covering outdoor raceways, modernizing the fish hatchery effluent treatment system and installation of a geothermal heating system.
