Note: Self guided classes are invited to the refuge at any time throughout the year. Environmental education packets may be signed out by faculty to assist in self guided tours.

All auto tour events are subject to cancellation if the Illinois River level rises above 16' on the Havana River Gauge. River level readings may be monitored through NOAA weather announcements or local tv/radio broadcasts.

Eagle Day Celebration at Dickson Mounds Musuem

Join the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service and their partners for a day filled with family oriented activities at Dickson Mounds Musuem. This event will include a presentation of the Mason County and Fulton County 10th Annual Eagle Art and Poetry Competition, as well as live raptor shows.
