Clarence Cannon NWR to Hire for Summer Youth Program
The Clarence Cannon National Wildlife Refuge will be hiring four young people this summer as part of the Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) program. This program will begin June 6, 2011, and end July 29, 2011, for a total of eight weeks. Interested applicants must be 15 years old by June 6, 2011, and cannot turn 19 years old on or before July 30, 2010. Successful applicants will be paid the Missouri minimum wage which is currently $7.25/hr.
Projects to be completed during the summer include habitat restoration/improvement and facility maintenance and all youth will receive environmental awareness opportunities.

Applications can be mailed to Clarence Cannon NWR, P.O. Box 88, Annada, MO 63330, and must be received by April 15, 2011.
Clarence Cannon NWR is located in Pike County, Missouri, approximately one mile east of Annada, along Highway 79 between Elsberry and Clarksville. It is one of over 550 national wildlife refuges.
