Invasive Species News
Receive Notification when Invasives are Reported in Your Area >> USGS Nonindigenous Aquatic Species (NAS) Alert System allows you to register to receive e-mail notifications when invasives are reported in your state or area.

Use HACCP Planning to Prevent the Spread of Invasive Species >> HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) is a pathway management tool used to help identify invasive species risks and focus procedures to prevent their spread through natural resource pathways. These pathways could include electrofishing, gillnetting, wetland monitoring, hatchery operations, or movement of livestock. HACCP planning is suitable for managers, biologists, technicians, and those in private industry. For more information, contact your regional USFWS ANS Coordinator or go to the HACCP website, www.HACCP-NRM.org
