Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge Eagle Days Celebration

Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge staff, volunteers and community partners welcomed crowds for the 32nd Annual Eagles event, Dec. 3-5, 2010.
On hand for the celebration were eagles lovers from far and wide. Aside from the 'wild' entertainment, the Dickerson Park Zoo provided the live eagle show, 'Puddles' the Blue Goose and a 25 foot American Eagle inflatable also marked the occasion.
Staff and volunteers welcomed visitors to learn more about our national bird through educational booths, activities and offered a special opportunity to watch them through the spotting scope.
