Hunting

Crane Meadows Refuge is in the land acquisition stage of development. Due to the scattered nature of the land presently in federal ownership and its interspersion with privately owned land, the refuge is not open to hunting at this time. A specialized hunt for hunters with disabilities is now in the planning process. Other hunting opportunities will occur as more land is acquired for the refuge.
