Who We Are

The Friends of Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge, Inc is an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the conservation of natural resources. We are committed to doing community stewardship for Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge through education, preservation and restoration.

What We Do

The Friends' projects for this year include construction of an observation deck that will overlook Rice Lake from the Platte River Trail and the development of a greenhouse program for growing native wildflowers for planting on the refuge.

The Friends welcome new members, as well as new partners, to help with their mission which is to benefit natural resources on and off the refuge.
