Visitor Services

Visitor Services staff are involved in a variety of functions. They manage visitor centers, coordinate volunteers, conduct educational and interpretive programs, develop and maintain facilities such as trails, boardwalks, observation points, fishing piers and hunting access. On a field station they often work with the local media, community groups, develop partnerships and refuge support organizations. Our park rangers and outdoor recreation planners are the experts in providing the visiting public with an enjoyable wildlife recreation experience.
