Employment

Employment opportunities at the Alpena FWCO are posted on the USA Jobs website (http://www.usajobs.gov). US Fish and Wildlife Service jobs can easily be accessed through the FWS Division of Human Capital website (http://www.fws.gov/jobs).

Volunteering

We welcome volunteer assistance for office and field activites. Volunteers have multiplied our efforts and come through to make many of our projects possible. We highly vaule their talents, time and contributions as partners in the work we conduct. Volunteering is a good opportunity for those who are interested in fisheries, who are pursuing education or jobs in the fishery field, and/or those who would like to serve the government and environment with their time and talents. There are numerous opportunities awaiting volunteers. If you are interested in assisting the Alpena FWCO with fishery activities, please contact our office - Alpena@fws.gov.
