Status under the Endangered Species Act

 

The final rule to delist the Gray Wolf Western Great Lakes Distinct Population Segment will become effective January 27, 2012 (30 days after publication in the Federal Register). Below is a map that shows the Endangered Species Act status of gray wolves in the conterminous U.S. as of January 27, 2012.
