Hunters and wildlife enthusiasts can choose from nearly 12,300 acres on 61 different waterfowl production areas (WPAs) for recreational activities (please review the regulations).

The district also has a new headquarters and interpretive center. This facility allows the district to provide environmental education and interpretive opportunities for local schools and the general public.

National Wildlife System Lands provide great opportunities for public use besides just hunting including bird and other wildlife watching, hiking, wildlife photography and much more!

Hours

District Headquarters and Visitor Center - Open 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday excluding federal holidays.

Outdoor Facilities - Open daily, dawn to dusk (year-round).
