  • Wings on the Prairie Discovery Center & Windom Wetland Management District, Wolf Lake Waterfowl Production Area Windom, MN (approximately 1 1/2 mile east of the McDonalds intersection in Windom on County Road 17). (click for map)

What:

  • This is a public event for people to come and see what the area has to offer and celebrate Wildlife and Nature. The will be guided bird walks, demonstrations, presentations and kids activities as well as lunch available on-site. Come and enjoy the Prairie!

The Friends of the Windom Wetland Management District, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the goals of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, will be on hand to explain their role in supporting the work of the District. Please take time to talk with members of the Friends Group and consider becoming involved as a Friend of the Windom Wetland Management District.
