Programs 

Any organized groups that wish to learn more about Whittlesey Creek NWR and its inhabitants may call Katie Goodwin at (715) 685-2645 to set up an age/group specific program and schedule an appropriate time.  All refuge programs are free of charge.

Early Education:


Ages birth through 6 are welcome, with an adult, to attend our monthly World of Wonder programs the first Tuesday of each month November - May. Pre-registration is appreciated the Friday before by calling Katie Goodwin at (715)685-2645. Organized groups and day-care may also call to schedule other days here at the visitor center or in the classroom. Teachers of Kindergarten through Third grade are also able to request a more age specific version of these programs.


World of Wonder

Educational programs for Preschool through Adults are available by contacting the refuge.

Specific programs for youth groups and schools are offered through the
partnership at the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center.

Visiting the refuge to participate in programming activities is recommended, but in some circumstances our staff may
be able to visit your facility or group. Special events and summer activities are
also conducted at the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center.
