What is Geocaching?
Geocaching is a high-tech scavenger hunt. It
involves using a hand-held Global Positiong System (GPS)
unit to find a specific place on the refuge. At the location there will be a geocache (a container) with a log book. Visitors are not allowed to place their own geocaches on the refuge. The refuge staff have placed a few geocaches on the refuge to get you connected to the resource. Use your GPS and go outside! To learn more about geocaching go to: www.geocaching.com
