Visitor Center

People enjoy stopping at the Visitor Center throughout the year. Here, you may view videos, ask questions, and look at exhibits, including two mounted bald eagles.

Currently the Visitor Center regular hours of operation are from 7:30 AM to 4:00PM., Monday through Friday, & Saturday 9:00 AM to 8:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM (During March-October) Please call (660-856-3323) before making plans for a visit. Restrooms are available at the Comfort Station, which is open 24 hours a day.

During the spring and summer months (Mar-Oct), you may also enjoy hiking the nature trail, photographing wildlife, or collecting nuts, berries, or deer sheds.
