The Midwest Region of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service offers a variety of paid and unpaid internships and volunteer opportunities for students throughout the year. These positions are offered to provide students with valuable real-life skills designed to enhance their educational experience, and to help them gain a better understanding of the mission of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

The Midwest Region includes the eight states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin.
