There are many opportunities to volunteer at the Ottawa NWR. Currently volunteers assist the refuge by mowing, operating equipment, working in the office, operating the bookstore, assisting visitors and a variety of other projects throughout the year. More information about volunteering with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service can be found at www.volunteer.gov.
