This three story Visitor Center offers:

Hands-on exhibits about the wildlife and habitats within Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge Complex
History about the Great Black Swamp
An observation deck
A book store
A Multipurpose room with 50-60 person capacity
A boardwalk
Outdoor restroom facilities
A photo blind
10 miles of hiking trails just outside (trail map)
Binoculars, field guides, and activity backpacks are available for visitors to borrow while visiting the refuge

Monday-Sunday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Winter Hours - December, January & February:

Monday - Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
