Bald Eagle Permit: Non-Purposeful TakeApplication and Fee Schedule(50 CFR Part 22.26) The information on this page pertains to a "non-purposeful take" permit. This permit authorizes the non-purposeful take of live bald eagles and their eggs, where the take is associated with, but not the purpose of a human activity or project, and where take cannot practicably be avoided. Authorization is subject to conditions to minimize impacts. The regulation authorizing non-purposeful take permits for bald eagles can be found in the Code of the Federal Register 50 CFR 22.26.
