Bird Conservation Initiatives - Blue Bird

The mission of the Midwest Region Migratory Birds Program is to conserve migratory bird populations and their habitats for future generations, through careful monitoring and effective management. This mission is achieved in large part through bird conservation efforts developed and implemented by the Service in partnership with many other Federal, state and non-governmental agencies and organizations. The major national and international bird conservation initiatives are listed below.  At these web sites, there are step-down plans that address bird conservation in the Midwest.
