Heidi Keuler
Fishery Technician

Heidi Keuler, the newest member of La Crosse FRO, is a full-time temporary employee who helps with maintenance, field and office work. Originally, Heidi was hired to help sample Pool 5A for paddlefish and lake sturgeon. Since then, Heidi has worked on projects such as the Goby Roundup, Higgins' eye, Winged mapleleaf, Lake Sturgeon Management, Fishing Days, and many outreach activities. Every spring and fall, Heidi works with GLIFWC to help sample walleye populations on ceded territory lakes. In the office Heidi works on the digital image library, Monthly Highlights Reports, and data entry. Heidi is working on her Master's Degree in Aquatic Science at UW-La Crosse.
