Welcome to the R3 Web site for implementation of the State Wildlife Action Plans (aka comprehensive wildlife conservation strategies). The Director has asked us to help the States implement their Plans. This is your toolkit for accomplishing the Director's task. You will find links to the individual State Plans and other useful information provided by the States. You will also find links to Fish and Wildlife Service documents that outline the intersection between This link opens in a new windowRegional Resource Conservation Priorities and the State plans, guidance on strategic habitat conservation and other related information that should be useful.

Tracking our progress with this task is also important. Please use the short-cut link to the Accomplishment Reporting System that includes instructions for reporting your progress and accomplishments.

This effort is one of the Director's top six priorities and is, similarly, a priority for me. I encourage you to explore this site as you plan your approach for helping the States implement their Plans.

Please contact Mike Sweet to provide feedback on the usefulness of the materials on this site, and to offer other suggestions for materials you believe would help you.

/s/ Robyn Thorson
