Partners for Fish and Wildlife

The Partners for Fish and Wildlife program is administered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and provides funding to private landowners for wildlife habitat restoration projects on their lands. Wetland restoration, stream side renovation, reforestation and native grassland reestablishment are among the programs habitat accomplishments. Since 1987, thousands of landowners have participated in this totally voluntary habitat restoration program. Through the generous interest of our conservation partners, most land improvements and restoration projects are installed at little or NO cost to the landowner. Completed projects provide landowners and future generations a lifetime of enjoyment. Contact the refuge office if you are interested in restoring native wildlife habitat on your land.
