Ammo Shelter: Part of the Cold War effort, this is the modern version of the Ammo Huts that were used during World War II. Made of concrete, the structure's entrance is protected by an earthen wall. This high explosive magazine is located adjacent to the ordnance taxiway. Ordnance crews could work directly from the magazine and arm the aircraft.
