Senior Officer's Quarters (400 Housing): Designed by Albert Kahn as part of the original base housing for officers in 1941. There are nine houses in a row, the Officer in Charge house is across the road.

Albert Kahn (1869-1942) was born in Germany and moved to the United States in 1880. Through innovative building designs, Kahn improved factory lighting and ventilation using steel frame, multi-pane windows arranged in walls or roofs to create huge volumes of natural light.
