  Hunt Regulations - Toppenish National Wildlife Refuge
 
General Regulations

Hours: The refuge is open from 5:00am to 1 ½ hours after the end of state shooting hours. Entry  prior to 5:00am is prohibited 

Parking: Park in designated parking areas only. 

Species: Geese, ducks, coots, snipe, pheasant, and quail may be hunted. 

Weapons, shot, and shells: Only shotguns and non-toxic shot may be used and possessed. Limit  of 25 shells per day per hunter. 

ProhibitedActivities: Camping, fires, and alcoholic beverages are not allowed. Jump shooting is prohibited. 
 
Upland bird hunting: Upland bird hunting is permitted only during designated waterfowl hunt days from noon until the end of state shooting hours. 

Special Regulations 
Robbins Unit -  Open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays only. Hunting is from assigned blinds only (see below). 

Halvorson & Webb Units - Open Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays only. Hunters may hunt only from designated hunting  pits. Two pits are available in each unit on a first come first serve basis. 

Petty, Pumphouse, Isiri, and Chambers Units - Open seven days a week. Petty, Isiri, and Chambers are free roam areas. Hunting parties are required to space themselves no less than 200 yards apart. Hunting on the Pumphouse Unit is from assigned blinds (see below). 

Robbins Unit - Open Tuesdays, Thrusdays, Saturdays, and Sundays only.

Robbins and Pumphouse Units - All hunters are required to access the hunt areas from one of two designated parking areas(see map). Parking for blinds 1-5 & 17-19 is located at the refuge headquarters. Parking for blinds 8-16 is located at the Pumphouse Road parking lot. Waterfowl hunters must park on a first come first serve basis in the numbered parking space matching the blind number they are hunting. Hunters wishing to change blinds must move their vehicle to the corresponding parking space before continuing to hunt. 

Disabled Access Blind - The disabled hunter blind is located on the lower east corner of the Robbins Unit. This blind is reserved for handicapped hunters only! Please contact the Complex office at (509) 545-8588 to arrange use of this blind.
