Fishing Opportunities
   

Public fishing is allowed on portions of McNary, Cold Springs, Umatilla and McKay Creek Refuges. There are no fishing opportuniteis at Toppenish Refuge.

For specific questions on fishing please contact the Refuge Manager or the Complex Office in Richland, at 509-371-9212. We hope to be able to put maps and current refuge regulations on this site in the near future. 

Quarry Pond in Burbank is stocked annually rainbow trout by the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife and is open to fishing year round.

The Walla Walla River within the Wallula Unit of the McNary Refuge is open to night fishing. 

No boats, canoes or kayaks are allowed on the headquarter ponds (Units I through IV) near the McNary Refuge headquarters, in Burbank.
