Merritt Island Wildlife Association, established in 1994, has a mission  to promote conservation, awareness, and appreciation of the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. With 1,200 members, it is one of the largest refuge support groups in the nation.  You can visit their website at or stop by the Bookery sales outlet in the Refuge Visitor Center where they offer books, hats, tee shirts, pins and more items related to nature and the Refuge.
