Waterfowl hunting is permitted in four designated “hunt areas” three days per week during the state waterfowl season. A refuge Hunt Permit is required in all areas and is attached to the hunting regulations.
In addition, a quota hunt permit is required to hunt in Area 1 and Area 4 during the months of November and December. The quota hunt permit is issued by the State of Florida through the Total Licensing System and can be purchased online at https://www4.wildlifelicense.com/fl/start.php
