Pristine riparian habitats on Alaska's Yukon River. High water events deposit sediments creating new gravel bars or settling in over established bars. This substrate is ripe for invasive plant establishment. We surveyed gravel bars between Circle and Fort Yukon, Alaska for white sweetclover (Melilotus albus), which occurs upstream of the survey area.
