The rehabilitation of a visitor center and multi-use facility at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Delaware neared completion in 2023. The Great America Outdoors Act project replaces multiple Coastal Delaware Refuge Complex facilities and will retire nearly $5.5 million in deferred maintenance. The bird-friendly center is expected to be complete and open to the public by late 2024.
