Hunting Lottery – McCormack (Umatilla) & Burbank Slough (McNary)

We're already getting questions about next years's lottery (the 2013-2014 season). The lottery will not open until mid-July; please check back then. We're also getting questions on how the lottery works from hunters interested in entering for the first time. When the lottery opens, the site will have full instructions. However, if you'd like some information now, here are the links to the instructions that were on the lottery page for the 2012-2013 season – McNary NWR (Burbank Slough) and Umatilla NWR (McCormack Unit). Please bear in mind that these are last year's instructions, and there may be changes for 2013-2014. But it's a start, and we don't anticipate any major overhauls of the system.
