As a young child, Chrissanna Srdoch had an interest in children and nature. In high school, she aspired to chase and research wolves, created Loxahatchee's Junior Refuge Manager Program, and planned numerous swamp clean up days. While attending the University of Florida (Go Gators!), she changed her major to special education and recently received her masters in special education. In the fall, she will begin her professional career as a teacher. Also, Chrissanna teaches gymnastics and is heavily involved with her church. She started writing Annie in 2003 for Loxahatchee's newsletter and continues to add another chapter to Annie's story for every new issue of the Loxahatchee newsletter.
