Best months to visit are October through April.  From June through August, visitors are encouraged to prepare for high temperatures, humidity, and biting insects. Tick repellent is advised year-round.


January
  • Good time for viewing wintering waterfowl and shorebirds in coastal areas

  • February 14: 9:00 - 3:00 - FREE Seahorse Key Open House: Bring your valentine to tour the historic lighthouse and enjoy the tranquility of this spectacular island in the Gulf. You'll need to catch a tour boat, paddle over ,or use your own vessel.
