Eagles perched in tree behind HQ Current Conditions Roads Open The following roads are open: Bear Creek Road, Rookery Road, Narcisse Creek Road to Kitt-Narcisse Road, Starvation Flat Road and Blacktail Mountain Road. Hunting Seasons The general spring turkey season is April 15 - May 31, 2008. Since we had a hard winter with the ground snow covered most of the time, turkey movement seems to be two weeks behind their typical patterns. Birds are still largely in flocks in the valleys. Still there has been some hunter success on the Refuge.
