Volunteers make this place happen! Our volunteers are made up of individuals and organizations who are dedicated to giving back to their communities. These include all ages and all abilities. The Leavenworth Fisheries Complex is grateful for the outstanding work that volunteers of all skill sets and abilities have provided us through the years. Our thanks go to the many retired people willing to share their wealth of knowledge, concerned citizens of all ages who want to learn more about conservation, and passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to spread the word about America's greatest natural treasures.
Hatchery volunteers must be at least 16 years old; however, for some tasks, 12 - 15 year olds can be permitted to volunteer if accompanied by a trained adult. Anyone under 18 must have signed parental approval.
Organized group participation is welcomed and encouraged. |
