The Fisheries program focuses on the restoration of lake trout and landlocked Atlantic salmon to Lake Champlain through a program of:

  • Culturing
  • Stocking
  • Sea lamprey control
  • Population monitoring

 

Habitat Projects (click here to view all)

The Habitat program is aligned with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Partners for Fish and Wildlife program and works to:

  • Restore and enhance aquatic, riparian, and upland habitats
  • Address aquatic invasive species
  • Enhance aquatic organism passage
