Tariff Act of 1930
Tariff Act of 1930 (19 U.S.C. 1202-1527, 46 Stat. 741) -- as amended by Tariff Classification
Act of 1962 (76 Stat. 73-74), this law imposes import duties on certain fish and wildlife,
including wild birds, bird feathers and skins.
It also prohibits importation of wild mammals or birds or parts or products thereof in violation of
laws or regulations of the country of export.
This authority is enforced by the U.S. Customs Service in cooperation with the U.S. Fish and
Wildlife Service. (50 CFR 15)
