Rivers and Harbors Act of 1938

This Act, Rivers and Harbors Act of 1938 (33 U.S.C. 540, and other U.S.C. sections; Chapter 535, June 20, 1938; 52 Stat. 802), provides for wildlife conservation to be given "due regard" in planning Federally authorized water resources projects. It also authorized more than 50 water projects.
