Lacreek National Wildlife Refuge Migration Update

The Refuge is open to pheasant and sharptail grouse hunting. A free permit is required to hunt upland birds on the Refuge, permits may be obtained online or at the information kiosks.
The second muzzleloader only season is open November 24-30. Licenses are issued by the State through a lottery system. Archery season is closed on the Refuge at this time.
If you are planning a trip, feel free to contact Headquarters (605-685-6508) during normal business hours of 7 AM to 3:30 PM MST Monday through Friday excluding Holidays to check on road conditions.
