The National Wetlands Inventory
The National Wetlands Inventory (NWI) of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service produces information on the characteristics, extent, and status of wetlands and deepwater habitats. In addition, they provide wetland maps, status maps, interactive mapping tools, digital wetland data, digital map downloads, status and trends reports, wetland publications, and plants and hydric soils lists.
