Revising
the Sucker Recovery Plan

_____________________________________

The U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) has announced the availability of a draft Revised Recovery Plan for the Lost River sucker (Deltistes luxatus) and the shortnose sucker (Chasmistes brevirostris). This revision is the product of years of hard work and coordination by many stakeholders. The Plan builds on progress achieved under the previous Recovery Plan (1993) by improving coordination and focusing recovery efforts. It also acknowledges the contribution of the several significant recovery actions that have recently been implemented.
