Stills - Stillwater NWR Canal Prescribed Fire

Canal pre-burn. Kansas Kyle on the driptorch. Ben Iverson lights the canal from inside. Burning off grasses and small brush to increase capacity for winter run-off.
The fire backs nicely down the canal. The tules were thickly matted down and burn intensely. Before burning. A few minutes into burning.
