Comprehensive Conservation Plan - A multi-year planning process has begun to develop a Comprehensive Conservation Plan (CCP) and Environmental Assessment (EA) for Keālia Pond and Kakahai'a National Wildlife Refuges. As part of the National Wildlife Refuge System, Refuges are required to have a CCP in place to guide the management of fish, wildlife, plants, habitats and public uses for a period of 15 years.
