Youth Conservation CorpsJulia Butler Hansen Refuge for the Columbian White-tailed Deer has a summer Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) Crew. We hire teens to work 40 hours/week from mid-June through mid-August to work, learn and earn together by doing projects that further develop and conserve the nation's resources. YCC crew members will earn minimum wage. Work projects include a variety of refuge activities, such as trail maintenance and construction, fencing, painting, invasive plant control, office and grounds maintenance, and other physical outdoor work activities.
