| A difference can be made by just one person…
The Multinational Species Conservation Funds support the protection, conservation and management of these species and their habitats. Your donation to the Funds helps to conserve populations of elephants, tigers, rhinos, great apes, and marine turtles in their natural habitats. Click here to learn more about the Multinational Species Conservation Funds and view project summaries. For more information about donations, download the fact sheet (in PDF) on donations, or contact us at 703-358-1754. How the funds will be usedThe funds you donate will go directly to projects that conserve and protect the species that you designate:
Funds support surveys, monitoring, anti-poaching measures, public awareness campaigns, resolution of human-species conflict, habitat protection, conservation capacity building, and applied research (genetics, behavioral ecology). Most projects have a local or regional scope, and are performed in species range countries by diverse local and international partners. Partners match grant dollars, compounding the effect of private donations. Talk to your tax advisor about making a contribution to support these programs – it may be deductible. It will definitely contribute to the conservation of these heritage species. |
