Project Summary

This project will repair damages to the Touse impoundment at the Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge.

  • Restore/improve refuge water management
  • Restore access to wildlife management areas
  • Restore habitat

Additional Details

Heavy rains from Hurricane Sandy washed out roads and compromised the integrity of water impoundments on the refuge. Repairs will shore up damaged areas and create a spillway to better manage future water control needs.
