Special Use Permits (SUPs)

SUP’s are required "for any activity on a refuge that is not already approved for the general public." Examples include all commercial activities including commercial photography/recording and research.  Permits may require a fee and are not always granted (for instance if the request is for an incompatible use or something the refuge does not have the resources to manage).
